U2 Vertigo - The Best iPod Commercial Ever

Funny how I always forget that almost anything is available on YouTube. When this came out a few years ago, I couldn't believe the energy. IMHO it's much better than the "official" Vertigo video, even though it's been abridged. Get some headphones, or crank up the speakers, 'cause this is a treat.

I miss he simplicity of the first run of iPod commercials, and I agree, this is better than the actual video. Nice find, Mark.

Those boys really can rock, and have fun doing it, eh?

Guess what song I'm loading on my iPod (iPhone) before I head out today?

Thanks, Mark!

Fantastic...but have you seen Coldplay's "Viva La Vida"? Maybe not quite as good as this one, but pretty cool too!

Jeff, glad to have contributed to your playlist!

Tam, yes, infectious is the word. I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell... and this U2 video.

Tell me you got the "more cowbell" reference.

Major tangent for the sake of cowbells everywhere: if you all missed this post, check it out.

Cindy, the visual effects on the Coldplay vid are amazing. It doesn't have the same RAW energy as the U2 one, but you're right, it's good.

RAW ENERGY! I love that phrase! Love the video. Everytime I see it I wonder what I would look like dancing like that on film... it's soooo cool.

Oh, man. The memories. This was the first taste I got of How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, and I watched that spot online about ten times in a row and asked myself, "How do they do it?"

Can't wait for their next debut single/iPod commercial... in 3-D!
